Local Public Health Assessment

The Local Public Health System Assessment focuses on all of the organizations and entities that contribute to the public's health. It is completed using the local instrument of the National Public Health Performance Standards Program (NPHPSP). The NPHPSP instrument measures how well the public health system partners collaborate to provide public health services based on a nationally recognized set of performance standards. The LPHSA answers the questions:

"What are the components, activities, competencies, and capacities of our local public health system?"

"How are the Essential Services being provided to our community?"
